X-Screen Pre-Packed - XSP Premium X-Ray image interpretation training at affordable prices XSP is a series of self-contained X-Screen courses, each being made up of several individual lessons which expose trainees to a range of X-Ray images in a simulator environment. Starting at induction level, for students with no previous experience, working up to refresher and then further to advanced levels, XSP has been developed to cater for all security operatives, no matter what their level of skill.X-Screen has earned itself a strong reputation for being a competent and powerful training tool for X-Ray Screeners within the security industry. With the cost of such a high performance training system traditionally restricting its’ purchase to larger organisations within the aviation and security industries, Quadratica has responded to recent requests from other interested parties to offer the same intuitive software and extensive X-Ray image library in low-cost modular form. XSP Refresher Package The XSP Refresher packages allow the X-Ray screener to move on from the original induction lessons, or pick up the training at this point following basic training acquired elsewhere. They will be exposed to gradually more complex images to develop and test their interpretation skills. Each XSP package contains 3 lessons, each with 45 x-ray images and takes just over an hour to complete*. The images within the XSP refresher courses progressively increase in difficulty with each individual package release. Every XSP session provides a report on an individual screener’s performance, so that any person that needs a little extra training can be identified and supported. This way, the Trainers can keep their team trained to the highest level with a minimum outlay of time and cost. There are currently 12 XSP Refresher courses available, giving a full years’ worth of training. This training is in line with the latest release of DfT requirements for screener training issued in April, 2010. *Time taken to complete will vary from operator to operator and includes image review time. All XSP packages are produced in individual formats which allow those using the packages for legally required refresher training to receive each month’s training in one lesson. Each pack gives the screener their monthly training requirements, so they can simply move on to the next pack for the following month. XSP courses utilise our generic interface, using the most common options from the most widely used X-Ray equipment currently in use. As a result XSP offers valuable image recognition training that is the focus in these lessons. New EU based legislation came into force in April 2010 and requires screeners to undertake regular refresher training. This places a legal requirement on employers to ensure Screeners complete regular Recurrent Training and be "subject to Image Recognition Training & Testing for at least 6 hours in every six month period".
