Starting at induction level, for students with no previous experience, working up to refresher and then further to advanced levels, XSP has been developed to cater for all security operatives, no matter what their level of skill. XSP Induction Package XSP Induction is an entry level course designed to train screeners to interpret basic X-Ray images. Containing seven lessons, each focusing on a different item (firearms, explosives, sharp objects, etc), the XSP Induction course takes the screener through basic image interpretation, moving into slightly more complex images which illustrate how items can be disguised and hidden within a bag or object.XSP Induction is suitable for people preparing to embark on a career in security and takes approximately an hour to complete.XSP courses utilise our generic interface, using the most common options from the most widely used X-Ray equipment currently in use. As a result XSP offers valuable image recognition training that is the focus in these lessons. New legislation came into effect in April 2010 and require screeners to undertake regular refresher training. This places a legal requirement on employers to ensure Screeners complete regular Recurrent Training and be "subject to Image Recognition Training & Testing for at least 6 hours in every six month period".
